Government Code § 30.00655","heading":"JOINT COURTS: JURISDICTION.","body":"(a) The jurisdiction of a joint municipal court of record created under Section 30.2503 is the combined jurisdiction of the municipal courts of the contracting municipalities.\n(b) An appeal from a joint municipal court of record created under Section 30.2503 is to the county criminal court of the county in which the offense occurred. If that county does not have a county criminal court, appeal is to the county court of law of the county.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 653, Sec. 1, eff. Aug. 28, 1995.
