Government Code § 3001.002","heading":"RESTRICTION ON REGULATION OF CERTAIN AGRICULTURAL FACILITIES.","body":"Notwithstanding any other law, a governmental entity may not adopt or enforce an ordinance, order, rule, or other measure that requires the installation of a fire protection sprinkler system in:\n(1) an agricultural pole barn;\n(2) a nonresidential farm building;\n(3) a cotton gin;\n(4) a cottonseed storage building;\n(5) a grain storage facility;\n(6) a livestock market; or\n(7) a commercial feed mill.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 866 (S.B. 1948), Sec. 1, eff.
