Government Code § 301.028","heading":"COOPERATION OF OTHER AGENCIES.","body":"(a) Each standing committee, including a general investigating committee, may request necessary assistance from all state agencies, departments, and offices, including:\n(1) the State Auditor;\n(2) the Texas Legislative Council;\n(3) the Department of Public Safety; and\n(4) the attorney general.\n(b) Each state agency, department, and office shall assist any legislative committee that requests assistance.\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 479, Sec. 1, eff.
