Government Code § 3100.072","heading":"LIMITATIONS ON GOVERNMENTAL SUBDIVISION OR AGENCY.","body":"(a) A governmental subdivision or agency may not enact or enforce a law that prohibits:\n(1) the display of:\n(A) a municipal flag;\n(B) the state flag;\n(C) the flag of another state of the United States;\n(D) the United States flag; or\n(E) the flag of a nation other than the United States; or\n(2) any conduct covered by this subchapter.\n(b) This section does not prohibit a governmental subdivision or agency from enacting or enforcing a law to protect the public health or safety.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1420, Sec. 7.001, eff.
