Government Code § 33.007","heading":"DISTRIBUTION OF MATERIALS TO JUDGES AND THE PUBLIC.","body":"(a) The commission shall develop and distribute plain-language materials as described by this section to judges and the public.\n(b) The materials must include a description of:\n(1) the commission's responsibilities;\n(2) the types of conduct that constitute judicial misconduct;\n(3) the types of sanctions issued by the commission, including orders of additional education; and\n(4) the commission's policies and procedures relating to complaint investigation and resolution.\n(c) The materials shall be provided in English and Spanish.\n(d) The commission shall provide to each person filing a complaint with the commission the materials described by this section.\n(e) The commission shall adopt a policy to effectively distribute materials as required by this section.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 917, Sec. 8, eff.
