Government Code § 33.024","heading":"OATHS AND SUBPOENAS.","body":"In conducting an investigation, formal proceedings, or proceedings before a special court of review, a commission member, special master, or member of a special court of review may:\n(1) administer oaths;\n(2) order and provide for inspection of books and records; and\n(3) issue a subpoena for attendance of a witness or production of papers, books, accounts, documents, and testimony relevant to the investigation or proceeding.\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 480, Sec. 1, eff.
