Government Code § 4003.055","heading":"EFFECTIVE DATE OF REGISTRATION BY NOTIFICATION.","body":"(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), the registration of securities by notification takes effect five days after the date the commissioner receives the registration statement filed under Section 4003.052 and all accompanying papers.\n(b) The commissioner may waive or reduce the five-day waiting period if the commissioner determines that the public will not be injured by the waiver or reduction of the waiting period.\nAdded by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 491 (H.B. 4171), Sec. 1.01, eff.
