Government Code § 403.002","heading":"PERFORMANCE OF DUTY.","body":"(a) Repealed by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 285, Sec. 31(9).\n(b) If the comptroller intentionally neglects or refuses to perform a duty of the office of comptroller, the comptroller is liable to the state for a penalty of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000 for each day of the neglect or refusal.\n(c) The attorney general, by suit in the name of the state, shall recover penalties provided by this chapter.
