Government Code § 403.012","heading":"ACCEPTANCE OF FEDERAL MONEY OR PROPERTY.","body":"(a) The comptroller may accept federal money for a state agency not otherwise restricted by statute or by rider or special provision in the General Appropriations Act, if the state agency has certified to the comptroller that the agency will be responsible for compliance with applicable federal and state law.\n(b) The comptroller may accept money or property under a federal equitable sharing program. In accepting the money or property, the comptroller shall comply with federal program requirements, including those governing accounting and the permissible use of an award.\nActs 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 147, Sec. 1, eff.
