Government Code § 403.112","heading":"ACCOUNTS.","body":"(a) The comptroller shall keep an appropriate account for each state fund, showing a short description of the essential features of the fund and maintaining sufficient information to account for bonds and securities owned by the fund.\n(b) The comptroller shall keep controlling or total accounts of the bonds or other securities, showing the total amount of bonds or other securities belonging to each fund.\n(c) A controlling account shall be balanced monthly.\nActs 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 147, Sec. 1, eff.
