Government Code § 403.703 (2)","heading":"OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF DATABASE.","body":"The comptroller:\n(1) may consult with the appropriate officer of, or other person representing, a taxing unit to obtain the information necessary to operate and maintain the database established under this subchapter;\n(2) may contract with a third party for the development or maintenance of the database;\n(3) shall coordinate with the Department of Information Resources to include a separate link to the database on the Internet website \"Texas.gov/PropertyTaxes\"; and\n(4) may not charge a fee to the public for access to the database.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 711 (H.B. 103), Sec. 1, eff.
