Government Code § 404.101","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) \"Advisory board\" means the comptroller's investment advisory board established under Section 404.028.\n(2) \"Participant\" means the state, agencies and local political subdivisions of the state, and nonprofit corporations, foundations, and other charitable organizations created on behalf of the state or an agency or local political subdivision of the state authorized to deposit money and securities with the trust company.\n(3) \"The state and its agencies\" includes the Employees Retirement System of Texas and the Teacher Retirement System of Texas.\n(4) \"Trust company\" means the Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company.\nActs 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 147, Sec. 1, eff.
