Government Code § 406.018","heading":"REMOVAL FROM OFFICE.","body":"(a) A notary public guilty of wilful neglect of duty or malfeasance in office may be removed from office in the manner provided by law.\n(b) A notary public indicted for and convicted of a wilful neglect of duty or official misconduct shall be removed from office.
