Government Code § 41.301","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) \"Board of directors\" means the board of directors of the unit.\n(2) Repealed by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 734 , Sec. 149, eff. September 1, 2015.\n(3) \"Department\" means the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.\n(4) \"Executive board\" means the executive board governing the board of directors of the unit.\n(5) \"Prosecuting attorney\" means a district attorney, a criminal district attorney, or a county attorney representing the state in criminal matters before the district or inferior courts of the county.\n(6) \"Unit\" means the special prosecution unit.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 263 (S.B. 103), Sec. 14, eff.
