Government Code § 41.312","heading":"IMMUNITY.","body":"(a) The following persons are immune from liability for good faith conduct under this chapter or Chapter 841, Health and Safety Code:\n(1) a member of the board of directors;\n(2) a member of the executive board;\n(3) the chief of the unit;\n(4) the counselor serving the unit; and\n(5) any other employee or officer of the unit.\n(b) A court shall immediately dismiss any action asserting a claim against a person described by Subsection (a) that arose from the person's good faith conduct.\n(c) This section does not affect a defense, immunity, or jurisdictional bar available to a person described by Subsection (a).\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., 2nd C.S., Ch. 7 (H.B. 16), Sec. 14.02(a), eff.
