Government Code § 411.0221","heading":"QUALIFICATIONS.","body":"(a) To be commissioned as an officer of the Texas Rangers, a person must:\n(1) have at least eight years of experience as a full-time, paid peace officer, including at least four years of experience in the department; and\n(2) be a commissioned member of the department.\n(b) The Texas Rangers is an equal employment opportunity employer; all personnel decisions shall be made without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, or religion.\nAdded by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 790, Sec. 12, eff.
