Government Code § 413.010","heading":"CONSULTATION WITH LEGISLATIVE OFFICIALS.","body":"In setting the priorities for the research projects of the policy council, the executive director of the policy council shall consult the governor, the lieutenant governor, the speaker of the house of representatives, the presiding officer of each standing committee of the senate and house of representatives having primary jurisdiction over criminal justice issues, and the presiding officer of each standing committee of the senate and house of representatives having primary jurisdiction over matters relating to state finance and appropriations from the state treasury.\nAdded by Acts 1987, 70th Leg., Ch. 147 (S.B. 894), Sec. 1, eff.
