Government Code § 418.153","heading":"COMPENSATION CLAIMS.","body":"(a) A person claiming compensation for the use, damage, loss, or destruction of property under this chapter shall file a claim for compensation with the division in the form and manner required by the division.\n(b) Unless the amount of compensation on account of property damage, loss, or destruction is agreed on between the claimant and the division, the amount of compensation is computed in the same manner as compensation due for taking of property under the condemnation laws of this state.\nActs 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 147, Sec. 1, eff.
