Government Code § 419.0265","heading":"RECIPROCITY.","body":"(a) The commission may waive any prerequisite to obtaining a certificate under this subchapter for an applicant who holds a license or certificate issued by another jurisdiction:\n(1) that has licensing or certification requirements substantially equivalent to those of this state; or\n(2) with which this state has a reciprocity agreement.\n(b) The commission may make an agreement with another state to allow for certification by reciprocity.\nAdded by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 580 (S.B. 709), Sec. 7, eff.
