Government Code § 43.139","heading":"79TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT.","body":"(a) The voters of the 79th Judicial District elect a district attorney.\n(b) The commissioners courts of the counties comprising the district may supplement the state salary of the district attorney in the amount of $2,500 a year. The commissioners court of each county in the district shall pay a proportionate share of the supplemental salary according to the population of the county.\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 480, Sec. 1, eff.
