Government Code § 43.162","heading":"159TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT.","body":"(a) The voters of the 159th Judicial District elect a district attorney.\n(b) Subject to the approval of the Commissioners Court of Angelina County, the district attorney may appoint investigators, court reporters, stenographers, secretaries, and other employees as he considers adequate and necessary to conduct the affairs of the office.\n(c) An investigator appointed by the district attorney must take the constitutional oath of office when appointed.\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 480, Sec. 1, eff.
