Government Code § 437.225","heading":"DISCHARGE.","body":"(a) A service member may be discharged from the Texas military forces according to regulations adopted by the adjutant general or by federal law or regulations.\n(b) On termination of the appointment of an officer or enlistment of an enlisted service member in the Texas military forces, the officer or enlisted service member shall be given a certificate of discharge stating the character of the person's service.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1217 (S.B. 1536), Sec. 1.01, eff.
