Government Code § 441.0091","heading":"GRANT PROGRAM FOR LOCAL LIBRARIES.","body":"(a) In addition to a grant or funding under Subchapter I, the commission may provide for grants to meet specific information needs of residents of this state and specific needs of local libraries that are not adequately addressed under Subchapter I or other law.\n(b) The commission, in designing the grant program under this section:\n(1) may consider federal law and federal funding priorities;\n(2) may include competitive grants; and\n(3) shall adopt by rule the guidelines for awarding grants.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 86, Sec. 9, eff.
