Government Code § 441.0092","heading":"TEXAS READS PROGRAM GRANTS.","body":"(a) From money in the Texas Reads program account, the commission shall make grants to fund programs to promote reading provided by public libraries.\n(b) The commission shall:\n(1) determine standards that a reading promotion program must meet to be eligible for a grant under this section;\n(2) provide procedures for application for a grant; and\n(3) determine the recipient and amount of each grant.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 763, Sec. 2, eff.
