Government Code § 442.050","heading":"EXPENDITURES; LIMITS.","body":"(a) The commission shall direct, by the terms of an agreement entered into under this subchapter, an organization's spending of state money.\n(b) A state employee may not directly spend or obligate an organization's money.\n(c) An organization may not spend state money to:\n(1) lobby or otherwise attempt to influence a member of the legislature; or\n(2) directly or indirectly attempt to influence legislation.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 948 (H.B. 4187), Sec. 5, eff.
