Government Code § 442.304","heading":"APPLYING FOR DESIGNATION.","body":"(a) Any person may submit an application to the commission to designate a cemetery under the program.\n(b) The applicant must include as part of the application information establishing:\n(1) the existence of the cemetery; and\n(2) that the cemetery contains the grave of at least one freed slave.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 763 (S.B. 217), Sec. 2, eff.
