Government Code § 444.007","heading":"RESPONSIBILITIES OF COMMISSION, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND STAFF.","body":"(a) The commission may employ an executive director. The executive director shall hire the staff of the commission.\n(b) The commission shall develop and implement policies that clearly separate the policy-making responsibilities of the commission and the management responsibilities of the executive director and the staff of the commission.\nActs 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 147, Sec. 1, eff.
