Government Code § 466.029","heading":"PRESERVATION OF LOTTERY-RELATED DOCUMENTS.","body":"(a) Notwithstanding any other law, the department shall preserve all department records, including e-mails, relating to the operation of the state lottery until at least the first anniversary of the last date the record is modified.\n(b) The department may not use a software program to automatically delete a record relating to the operation of the state lottery on a date earlier than the last day of the period specified by Subsection (a).\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1160 (S.B. 3070), Sec. 16, eff.
