Government Code § 482.101","heading":"ESTABLISHMENT; PURPOSE.","body":"(a) The Texas Space Commission is established to strengthen this state's proven leadership in civil, commercial, and military outer space activity.\n(b) The purpose of the commission is to promote:\n(1) innovation in the fields of space exploration and commercial space;\n(2) commercial space opportunities; and\n(3) the integration of the space and aeronautics industries into the economy of this state.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 856 (H.B. 3447), Sec. 1, eff.
