Government Code § 482.501","heading":"RULES; CERTAIN LIMITATIONS ON GRANT AWARDS.","body":"(a) The board shall adopt rules regarding the procedure for awarding grants to applicants under this chapter. The rules must authorize the commission to:\n(1) identify the specific purpose under Section 482.302(a) for which the commission awards a grant; and\n(2) obtain information from the consortium as necessary to make award determinations.\n(b) The board may not award a grant to an applicant who has made a gift, grant, or donation to the commission or a nonprofit organization established to provide support to the commission during the preceding year.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 856 (H.B. 3447), Sec. 1, eff.
