Government Code § 487.453","heading":"ADMINISTRATION.","body":"(a) The department shall administer or contract for the administration of the program.\n(b) The department may solicit and accept gifts, grants, donations, and contributions to support the program.\n(c) The department may administer the program in cooperation with other public and private entities.\n(d) The department, in consultation with Area Health Education Center Programs, shall coordinate the program with similar programs, including programs relating to workforce development, scholarships for education, and employment of students, that are administered by other agencies, such as the Texas Workforce Commission and local workforce development boards.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 831, Sec. 1, eff.
