Government Code § 507.022","heading":"EMPLOYEES' SALARIES, ROOM AND BOARD, AND MEDICAL CARE.","body":"(a) Salaries of department employees assigned to a state jail felony facility and the provision of board, lodging, uniforms, and other provisions to employees are as provided by the General Appropriations Act.\n(b) Department employees assigned to a state jail felony facility who are injured in the line of duty are entitled to receive free medical care and hospitalization from institutional division doctors and the institutional division hospital.\nAdded by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 988, Sec. 1.07, eff.
