Government Code § 508.255","heading":"STATUS AS FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.","body":"(a) After the issuance of a warrant, a person for whose return a warrant was issued is a fugitive from justice.\n(b) The law relating to the right of the state to extradite a person and return a fugitive from justice and Article 42.11, Code of Criminal Procedure, relating to the waiver of all legal requirements to obtain extradition of a fugitive from justice from another state to this state, are not impaired by this chapter and remain in full force and effect.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 12.01, eff.
