Government Code § 508.314","heading":"ACCESS TO INMATES.","body":"The department shall:\n(1) grant to a member or employee of the board access at all reasonable times to any inmate;\n(2) provide for the member or employee or a representative of the member or employee facilities for communicating with or observing an inmate; and\n(3) furnish to the member or employee:\n(A) any report the member or employee requires relating to the conduct or character of an inmate; or\n(B) other facts a parole panel considers pertinent in determining whether an inmate will be released on parole.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 12.01, eff.
