Government Code § 508.316","heading":"SPECIAL PROGRAMS.","body":"(a) The department may contract for services for releasees if funds are appropriated to the department for the services, including services for releasees who have a history of:\n(1) mental impairment or intellectual disability;\n(2) substance abuse; or\n(3) sexual offenses.\n(b) The department shall seek funding for a contract under this section as a priority item.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 12.01, eff.
