Government Code § 508.318","heading":"CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAM.","body":"(a) The Texas Board of Criminal Justice and the Texas Education Agency shall adopt a memorandum of understanding that establishes the respective responsibilities of the board and the agency in implementing a continuing education program to increase the literacy of releasees.\n(b) The Texas Board of Criminal Justice and the agency shall coordinate the development of the memorandum of understanding and each by rule shall adopt the memorandum.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 12.01, eff.
