Government Code § 508.320","heading":"CONTRACTS FOR LEASE OF FEDERAL FACILITIES.","body":"(a) The department may contract with the federal government for the lease of a military base or other federal facility that is not being used by the federal government.\n(b) The department may use a facility leased under this section to house releasees in the custody of the division.\n(c) The department may not enter into a contract under this section unless funds have been appropriated specifically to make payments on a contract under this section.\n(d) The department shall attempt to enter into contracts that will provide the department with facilities located in various parts of the state.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 12.01, eff.
