Government Code § 51.315","heading":"SPECIAL DEPUTY DISTRICT CLERKS FOR CERTAIN COURTS IN HARRIS COUNTY.","body":"(a) The Commissioners Court of Harris County may pay the salary of the special deputy district clerks that it considers necessary for the 177th, 178th, 179th, and 180th district courts.\n(b) The clerk of the court shall appoint a deputy district clerk under this section.\n(c) A deputy district clerk serves at the will of the appointing clerk.\n(d) A deputy district clerk is entitled to a salary from the county paid monthly from the general funds of the county. The salary may not exceed the compensation allowed by law to other deputy district clerks.\nActs 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 480, Sec. 1, eff. Sept. 1, 1985.","path":["GOVERNMENT CODE","TITLE 2.
