Government Code § 523.0104","heading":"ELIGIBILITY TO SERVE ON EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.","body":"(a) In this section, \"Texas trade association\" has the meaning assigned by Section 523.0052.\n(b) An individual may not serve on the executive council if:\n(1) the individual is an officer, employee, or paid consultant of a Texas trade association in the field of health and human services; or\n(2) the individual's spouse is an officer, manager, or paid consultant of a Texas trade association in the field of health and human services.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611), Sec. 1.01, eff.
