Government Code § 526.0256","heading":"PENALTY PAID OR HEARING REQUESTED.","body":"Not later than the 20th day after the date the attorney general sends the notice under Section 526.0255, the hospital receiving the notice must submit a written request for a hearing or remit the amount of the administrative penalty to the attorney general. Failure to timely request a hearing or remit the amount of the administrative penalty results in a waiver of the right to a hearing under this section.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611), Sec. 1.01, eff.
