Government Code § 526.0257","heading":"HEARING.","body":"(a) If a hospital requests a hearing in accordance with Section 526.0256, the attorney general shall conduct the hearing in accordance with Chapter 2001.\n(b) If the hearing results in a finding that a violation has occurred, the attorney general shall:\n(1) provide to the hospital written notice of:\n(A) the findings established at the hearing; and\n(B) the amount of the penalty; and\n(2) enter an order requiring the hospital to pay the amount of the penalty.\n(c) An order entered by the attorney general under this section is subject to judicial review as a contested case under Chapter 2001.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611), Sec. 1.01, eff.
