Government Code § 526.0652","heading":"PLAN ESTABLISHMENT.","body":"The commission shall develop and, subject to appropriations, implement a plan to:\n(1) ensure that each incapacitated individual in this state who needs a guardianship or another less restrictive type of assistance to make decisions concerning the incapacitated individual's own welfare and financial affairs receives that assistance; and\n(2) foster the establishment and growth of local volunteer guardianship programs.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611), Sec. 1.01, eff.
