Government Code § 532.0101","heading":"FINANCING OPTIMIZATION.","body":"The commission shall ensure that the Medicaid finance system is optimized to:\n(1) maximize this state's receipt of federal funds;\n(2) create incentives for providers to use preventive care;\n(3) increase and retain providers in the system to maintain an adequate provider network;\n(4) more accurately reflect the costs borne by providers; and\n(5) encourage improvement of the quality of care.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611), Sec. 1.01, eff.
