Government Code § 54.740","heading":"EFFECT OF TRANSFER.","body":"When a case is transferred from one court to another as provided by this subchapter, all processes, writs, bonds, recognizances, or other obligations issued from the transferring court are returnable to the court to which the case is transferred as if originally issued by that court. The obligees in all bonds and recognizances taken in a case that is transferred and all witnesses summoned to appear in a court from which a case is transferred are required to appear before the court to which the case is transferred as if the processes or obligations were originally issued by the court to which the transfer is made.\nAdded by Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 2, Sec. 8.32(a), eff.
