Government Code § 54.759","heading":"LOCATION OF COURT.","body":"(a) The criminal law magistrate court may be held at one or more locations provided by the local administrative rules or ordered by the local administrative judge.\n(b) A defendant may be brought before the court in person or by means of an electronic broadcast system through which an image of the defendant is presented to the court. For purposes of this subsection, \"electronic broadcast system\" means a two-way electronic communication of image and sound between the defendant and the court.\nAdded by Acts 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 2, Sec. 8.32(a), eff.
