Government Code § 540.0753","heading":"DELIVERY OF BASIC ATTENDANT AND HABILITATION SERVICES.","body":"Subject to Section 542.0152, the commission shall:\n(1) implement the option for the delivery of basic attendant and habilitation services to individuals with disabilities under the STAR+PLUS Medicaid managed care program that:\n(A) is the most cost-effective; and\n(B) maximizes federal funding for the delivery of services for that program and other similar programs; and\n(2) provide voluntary training to individuals receiving services under the STAR+PLUS Medicaid managed care program or their legally authorized representatives regarding how to select, manage, and dismiss a personal attendant providing basic attendant and habilitation services under the program.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611), Sec. 1.01, eff.
