Government Code § 544.0203","heading":"FRAUD, WASTE, AND ABUSE DETECTION TRAINING.","body":"(a) The commission shall develop and implement a program to provide annual training on identifying potential cases of Medicaid fraud, waste, or abuse to:\n(1) contractors who process Medicaid claims; and\n(2) appropriate health and human services agency staff.\n(b) The training must include clear criteria that specify:\n(1) the circumstances under which a person should refer a potential case to the commission; and\n(2) the time by which a referral should be made.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611), Sec. 1.01, eff.
