Government Code § 544.0403","heading":"COMMISSION ACTION FOLLOWING DETERMINATION OF VIOLATION.","body":"If after an investigation the commission determines that an individual violated Section 544.0402, the commission shall:\n(1) notify the individual of the alleged violation not later than the 30th day after the date the commission completes the investigation and provide the individual with an opportunity for a hearing on the matter; or\n(2) refer the matter to the appropriate prosecuting attorney for prosecution.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611), Sec. 1.01, eff.
