Government Code § 546.0106","heading":"PROCEDURE TO PROVIDE NOTICE TO MEDICAID RECIPIENTS.","body":"The commission shall:\n(1) develop a procedure to:\n(A) verify that a recipient or the recipient's parent or legal guardian is informed of the consumer direction model and provided the option to choose to receive care under that model; and\n(B) if the individual declines to receive care under the consumer direction model, document the decision to decline; and\n(2) ensure that each Medicaid managed care organization implements the procedure.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611), Sec. 1.01, eff.
