Government Code § 546.0204","heading":"PERMANENCY PLANNING FOR CERTAIN CHILDREN.","body":"(a) Notwithstanding Section 546.0201, in this section, \"institution\" has the meaning assigned by Section 242.002, Health and Safety Code.\n(b) The commission and each appropriate health and human services agency shall develop procedures to ensure that permanency planning is provided for each child:\n(1) residing in an institution in this state on a temporary or long-term basis; or\n(2) for whom institutional care is sought.\nAdded by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 769 (H.B. 4611), Sec. 1.01, eff.
